Bobby Gene Williams, 80, of Jackson, LA, was called to his heavenly home on October 18, 2018 to be reunited with his beloved wife of 61 and a half years, Aline Williams. He was retired, after working for 32 years for East Louisiana State Hospital. He was born in Glen, Mississippi. There will be a visitation at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc. in Zachary on Friday, October 19, 2018 from 5pm until 8pm and then on Saturday, October 20, 2018 from 9am until funeral services at 10am, conducted by Rev. Basil Wicker. Burial will be at Jackson Cemetery. He is survived by one daughter, Laura W. “Tootsie” Gonazles and her husband Mike Gonzales of Prairieville, LA; two sisters, Giffie E. Lee of Jackson, LA; Margaret A. Dixon and her husband Kenneth Dixon of Liberty, MS; one brother, Jerry Williams and wife Edith Williams of Prairieville, LA; four grandchildren: Joshua K. Smith, Kelcie A. Gonzales, Michael J. Gonzales Jr., Lonnie M. Gonzales; four great-grandchildren Blake Gonzales, Katie Gonzales, Addison Gonzales, and Brock Gonzales. He is also survived by his canine companion, Penny. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 61 and a half years, Aline Williams; parents Leslie Williams Sr. and Lillie Holloway Williams; brothers: James, Leslie “Jack”, Quitman “Buddy”; sisters Ruth Lee, Lessie Mae Barlow, and Virginia “Ginnie” Bradley. Pallbearers will be Josh Smith, Michael Gonzales Jr., Lonnie Gonzales, Mike Guillory, Delta Wayne Guillory, and Earl Ravencraft, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Williams, Ralph Lee, and all his special friends. Bobby was a master craftsman who could fix anything. He even dreamed about doing repairs. He was beloved by his family.
