Obituary for Ray Martin Hall

Ray Martin  Hall
Ray Martin Hall passed away at the age of 86 on January 6th, 2017 in Humble, TX. He was born November 2, 1930 in Pensacola Florida Baptist Hospital and grew up in that area. He was married to Wanda Jeanette Rester on August 9th, 1950. Ray served his country with the Navy and was stationed in both Pensacola and Key West. He was honorably discharged from the Navy on October 15th, 1959 after 8 years of service. After that he worked in paper mills up through retirement in Florida, Georgia, Arkansas and then Louisiana. He went on to a job in sales for a paper mill equipment company for the next 5 years. After 31 years of marriage, Wanda Jeanette Rester Hall passed away on September 14, 1981, they had three children. He married Mary Beth Peters on September 5th, 1982. Mary had 5 grown children from a previous marriage. Mary passed away on January 22, 2009 after 27 years of marriage. He is survived by his three children, Cynthia Gay Brown and husband, Bruce, Jr., Michael Ray Hall and, Mitchell Don Hall, three grand-children Bruce Brown III and wife, Kristen, Mary Brown and Brittany Brown plus four great grand-children Kohl and Charlotte Brown and Sophie and Carley Davis. He is also survived by a brother Danny Hall and wife, Martha and 5 step children, Tom Peters, Susan Parker, Tim Peters, Bill Peters and Sarah Powell.

Visitation will be at Charlet Funeral Home Inc. in Zachary on Thursday, Jan. 12, 2017 from 5pm until 7pm and continues on Friday, Jan. 13, 2017 from 9am until service at 10am conducted by Rev. Tom Schreeder. Burial will be in Azalea Rest in Zachary.
