Obituary for Brian Keith Broom
Our beloved husband, father, son, brother and friend was killed as the result of an automobile accident on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2016. He was a resident of Denham Springs, Louisiana, and worked at Triad Controls and Electrical.
Visiting was at First Baptist Church, Zachary on Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2016 from 5pm until 8pm. Visitation resumes on Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2016 at First Baptist Church, Zachary from 10am until religious service at 11am conducted by Rev. Stephen Byrd and Rev. Leo Miller. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park, Denham Springs.
He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Tara Lynn Broom and their son, Jackson Perry Broom, age 6.
His parents, Marlon and Tammy Broom and Susan Rossin. Mother in law and father in law, Judy White Schillings and Joseph P. Schillings.
Siblings: Lance Broom, Ashley Broom, Garrett Broom, Nicole Rossin, Taylor Rossin, Brandon Rossin, Candy Rossin and Ricky Lynn Rossin.
Sister in law and brother in law, Alicia and Jeremy Seaton.
Nephews and nieces, Avery Broom, Tripp Seaton, Aden Rossin, Jacobi Rossin and Annebelle Broom.
Grandparents, Charles and Dorlene Walker and Doris Green.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Bill Green and his father in law, Rodney White.
Pallbearers will be Lance Broom, Garrett Broom, Taylor Rossin, Brian Nunes, Robert Dawson, Shane Bizette, Ricky Green and Craig Tullier. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeremy Seaton, Brandon Bailey, Paul and Clayton Crabtree.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family through Charlet Funeral Home or through the “GoFundMe” account.
Brian was an avid LSU sports fan; exceptional father; loyal husband; wonderful son, brother and friend; awesome son in law and ALWAYS a comedian. We are sure he is in Heaven with his father in law, Rodney, making everyone laugh and stirring up trouble.
