Obituary for Robert Wesley "Bob" Holland

Former owner of H & H Trading Post and Bob’s Construction Company, Bob died on Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2016 at his home in Alvin, TX. He was 87 years old and a former resident of Clinton. Visiting will be at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc. in Clinton on Saturday, Feb. 13, 2016 from 5pm until 8pm. Visitation continues on Sunday at Milldale Baptist Church from 1:30pm until religious service at 2:30pm conducted by Rev. Danny Greig. Burial will be in Milldale Baptist Church Cemetery. He is survived by his daughters, Ellen Holland Fudge and husband, Joe and Robbye Holland Ramierz and husband, Luis. Siblings, Sonny Holland, Alvin Holland, Birdie Raines, Ronnie Holland and Marvin Holland. 6 grandchildren, Robert Fudge, Joey Fudge, Crissy Fudge Crain, Lucinda Ramirez Olguin, Beth Hunt Fudge and Patty Pipes Fudge Phares. 13 great grandchildren, Josh, Daniel, Kristen, Macy and Cole Fudge, Ashley Fudge, Mallory Davis, Morgan Fudge, Holland Claire, John Clark and Patrick Crain, Jeremy Ramirez and AnaVella Olguin. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mae Cartwright Holland, siblings, Helen Cumming, Mildred Parish, Paul Holland, Eddie and Phillip Holland. He was a charter member of Milldale Baptist Church and established and managed Holland House Restaurant and Pizza Palace Restaurant in Clinton.
