Stone, Sandy Kaye, 51, passed away on April 26, 2023. She was born on September 30,1971 to Charles Kent Stone and Jane Ann Stone in Russelville, Arkansas. She spent most of her life in Louisiana. She touched many lives and was loved by many. She was passionate about her family and former career. Sandy was an incredibly hard worker and was very business-minded. At one point, she made Baton Rouge's Top 100 Business Women. Sandy was spiritual and loved God. She rests now in the arms of our Lord.
Sandy is survived by her children, Sarah Anderson Lancon (James), Kayleigh Anderson Scott (Jared), Caleb Kent Yott and bonus daughter Jackie Tate (Derek), mother, Jane Roark, sisters, Christie Stone DeJong (Dustin) and Karen Stone, grandchildren, Samuel and Elizabeth and nieces and nephews, Isabella Pessoa, Nathan Pessoa and Grace DeJong.
Visitation will be on Sunday, April 30, 2023 at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc., Zachary from 4:00 pm until service time at 6:00 pm.
Her children request that if you wish to send flowers to please send sunflowers, as those were Sandy's favorite. Or in lieu of flowers, a GoFundMe has been established to assist her youngest child, Caleb Kent Yott, as he continues in his life without his mother.
