Obituary for Sadie Louise Havard (Forbes)

Sadie Louise Forbes Havard, a resident of Jackson, died at her home on Friday, April 21, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She was 89 years old and was retired from Villa Feliciana Hospital with 30 years of service. She was the owner of Pecan Ridge Bluegrass Park in Jackson. Visitation will be at Second Baptist Church in Jackson on Monday, April 24, 2023 from 9am until service at 12pm conducted by Rev. Clark Fooshee. Burial will be in Second Baptist Church Cemetery, Jackson. She is survived by her 4 sons, Charles “Randy” Smith (Linda), Danny Smith (Terri), Henry “Boobee” Smith (Beth), Kirk “Glenis” Havard (Jacqueline McLean). 12 Grandchildren, Brandy Rouse (Kenny), Bridgette Siebert (Lance), Belinda Brignac (Andre), Rebecca Caldwell (Butch), Keith Smith (Amelia), Andrea Bordelon (Ritchie), Holly Baker (Chris), Dustin Smith, Kirk Havard (Chloe), Corey Havard, Kaleigh Barksdale (Jacob), and Cody Havard. 14 Great Grandchildren, Tori Holden (Hayden), Tanner Rouse, Brett Siebert, Cameron Siebert, Blake Siebert , Carson Gunter, Carmen Workman (Nate), Beau Brignac, Hunter Smith (Ax), Lyndsey Bordelon (Blake), Madelyn Kenney (Walter), Garrett Bordelon, Sadie Mae Baker, and Ryleigh Barksdale, 12 Great Great Grandchildren, Brooks Holden, Arden Workman, Archer Workman, Willow Ross, Saylor Ross, Greyson Kenney, Bryson Kenney, Emmerson Kenney, Novaleigh Kenney, Brinley Kenney, Ryleigh Kenney and Max Smith. Her special friend and caregiver Betty Fontenot. Sadie is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Alvin Havard, her mother, Barbara Smith, father, William Forbes and a great granddaughter, Cassie Smith. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be her great grandsons. Sadie was a member of Second Baptist Church in Jackson. She enjoyed promoting and attending Bluegrass Festivals.
