David Lynn Barber died on Wednesday, March 8, 2023. A Graveside Service was held at Second Baptist Church Cemetery in Jackson. He is survived by his siblings, Donald Barber and wife, Loretta, Janice Barber, Ronald Barber, “Andy” Barber, Gloria Barber Allen and husband, Fred, and Carolyn Smith and husband, Gerald. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Melton Jewell and Betty Rose Magee Barber, a brother, Melton Raymond Barber and a nephew, James McCallister.
David was 67 years old and resided in Jackson. He always loved watching football on TV and in his younger years he used to love talking on his CB Radio. He was known as “Stagecoach” and would spend countless hours talking to truckers and friends.

Rest in Peace sweet Brother. You are safe in the arms of the Father now, no more suffering. You will be missed.
