Grace Denham Chase, 89, died on Thursday, February 9, 2023. She worked as a registered nurse at Lane Regional Medical Center for over 35 years. There will be a visitation at the Zachary First Baptist Church on Saturday, February 11, 2023, from 10:00 am until funeral services at 12:00 noon, conducted by Dr. Wayne Barnes. Burial will be at Masonic Cemetery in Clinton. She is survived by her sister, Helene Gill and husband Robert of Baton Rouge; brother Henry Chase and wife Gwen of Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Otis and Pansy Chase; sisters Florence Chase, Emily Chase, and Roberta Freeman; brothers O.B. Chase and Sam Chase. Pallbearers will be Troy Freeman, John Chase Jr., Andrew Chase, Robbie Gill, Thomas Ray Freeman, Terry Gill, and Jeff Chase. She was a longtime member of the Zachary First Baptist Church.
