Obituary for Iris Kathleen Hobbs (Spence)
Iris Kathleen Hobbs, a resident of Jackson, died on Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2023 at her home. She was 95 years old.
Visitation will be at First Baptist Church in Zachary on Friday, Jan. 27, 2023 from 9:30am until service at 11am conducted by Dr. Eddie Wren. She is survived by 2 daughters, Janice Musselman and husband, Paul of Jackson and Jean Kelley and husband, Thomas of Phoenix, AR. A brother, Robert Spence of Ponce de Leon, FL.
9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Lawrence Hobbs, 2 sons, James Hobbs and Jerry Hobbs and her parents, Alton and Ina Spence. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Zachary. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
