William H. "Butch" Norris, 78, a native of Baton Rouge and resident of Clinton, LA passed away on Monday, January 9, 2023. He was born on February 20, 1944. He is survived by sons, David E. Norris and Jeffrey W. Norris, 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, brother Wayne Norris, sisters Ramona Kennard and Lawanna Lavigne(Raymond) and longtime loyal friend, Dennis Sicard. Preceded in death by parents, Loyal and Marguerite Wood Norris, brother Ricky Norris and brother in law Donald Ray Kennard. He was a graduate of Baker High School, served in the United States Army Reserves and graduated from x-ray technology school in New Orleans. He was a x-ray technician specialist and worked in that profession until his retirement. He was an avid LSU and Saints fan, enjoyed hunting and fishing and was an excellent cook. He battled many health issues, but a good day for him was his dog in his lap, a good cigar and the view of the river from his camp window. Per his request, no services will be held.
