He went to work at the St. Francisville Crown Zellerbach paper mill the year they began operations until his retirement over 40 years later. Henry was a lifelong outdoors enthusiast. His love of fishing and hunting was something he passed on to his children and grandchildren. Henry had a knack for storytelling and, on occasion, with a twinkle in his eye, would recount one of his many "fishing stories" where the truth may, or may not, be stretched a bit. Henry loved spending time with family and friends and was happy to be able to celebrate his 90th birthday with many of them at his home on December 26, 2022. Henry will be missed by all who knew him, including his beloved cat, Miley Cyrus. His family would like to thank Dr. Chaillie Daniel and staff, whose tireless care has been such a blessing, as well as Cardinal Health Hospice, including his caregivers, Ms. Lorraine & Nurse Penny.
