Tammy Lane Hobgood Smith, a resident of Slaughter, died on Saturday, Dec. 17, 2022. She was 62 years old and was a retired Rural Mail Carrier in Baker. Visitation will be at First Baptist Church Slaughter on Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2022 from 9am until service at 11am conducted by Rev. Raymond Taylor. Burial will be in Feliciana Rest Cemetery, Slaughter. Tammy is survived by her husband, Stephen Smith, a daughter, Amber Nicole Marsh Fabre and husband, David, a step son, Rusty McDonald and her beloved Service Animal, Suzie Lou. 2 brothers, Shelton Hobgood, Jr. and wife, Les and Allen Hobgood and wife, Shari. 2 grandchildren, Aubrey and Colin Fabre. Numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Shelton Hobgood, Sr. and Betty Wall Lofton.
