Jim Wayne Miley
A native of Pine and longtime resident of Baker, Louisiana passed away peacefully to his Heavenly home on Monday November 7, 2022 at the age of 73. He will be greatly missed, and forever loved by his family and friends. Wayne was born November 25, 1948 in Bogalusa to the late Jim Miley and Jewell Hennesy. He had an avid interest in golf and played in numerous tournaments until his declining health. He loved football and was a big LSU and Saints fan.
He is survived by two sons Jim Wayne (Michelle) Miley, Jr. and Morgan Ross (Elizabeth) Miley; 5 sisters Jillder Vybiral, Ardell Guerra, Sharon Frieze, Barbara (Martin) Mattson, and Nancy (Bobby) Stephens; numerous nieces and nephews.
Wayne was a wonderful dad, brother, and uncle to his family. His special gift was his extended kindness not only to his family but to all he came into contact with. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.
Your presence will be greatly missed!
Memorial services will be Friday Nov.11, 2022 at the Charlet Funeral Home, Zachary, LA 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm for Celebration of Life. Saturday Nov.12, 2022 services will be held at Central Baptist Church, Angie, LA with viewing from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm prior to graveside service . Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
