Ruby J. Havard, a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, died on Nov, 4, 2022 at her home in St. Francisville. She was 95 years old and a native of St. Francisville. Visitation will be on Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2022 at Grace Episcopal Church, St. Francisville from 9am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11am conducted by Fr. Craig Dalferes. Burial will be at Grace Episcopal Church Cemetery. She is survived by 2 daughters, Lynda McCardle and husband, Mick, Sylva, NC and Patty Beckham and husband, Randy, St. Francisville. 5 Grandchildren, Kent Stevenson, Laura Elsrod, Devin McCardle, Jeff Beckham and Jonathan Beckham. 10 Great Grandchildren, Savannah Stevenson, Scarlet Stevenson, Will Elsrod, Sam Elsrod, Jackson Beckham, Kaitlyn Beckham, Maggie Rose Beckham, Miles Ray Beckham, Max McCardle and Sunny Rae McCardle. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ray F. Havard, Jr. and a son, Ray F. Havard, III. Pallbearers will be Jeff Beckham, Jonathan Beckham, Jerry Tanner, Ken Jones, Wayne Tanner and Ritchie Tanner, Honorary pallbearers will be Kent Stevenson, Bob Haddox and Devin McCardle. She was a 1944 graduate of Julius Freyhan High School and a graduate of Baton Rouge Business College. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Grace Episcopal Cemetery Fund.
