Obituary for Melvin Leonard "Boo" Boudreaux

Melvin “Boo” Boudreaux went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at the age of 88, born November 6, 1933. Gone are the days we use to share, but in our hearts you will always be there. Visitation will be at Holy Family Catholic Church, Port Allen, LA on September 28 from 9:30 AM until Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 AM. Burial will be at Resthaven Gardens of Memory Baton Rouge, LA. Survived by brother in law, Richard Haynes. Nieces and nephews, Robbie Chemin and husband (Mike), David Haynes, Jeff Haynes (Stacie), Debra Hart, Michelle Barras (Brett), Kim Guin (Danny), Renee Gros (Mike), and Denise Sotak (Mark), and numerous great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Rudolph and Calice Vice Boudreaux, brothers, James, Louis, Earl, Russell and Joseph Boudreaux, sisters, Barbara Ann Haynes and Marie Louise Harvey, nephew Brian Keith Haynes, Mike Hart and numerous others. Pallbearers will be Mike Chemin, Michael Chemin, Jeff Haynes, Jesse Ray, Ray Hart and Jaden Lawdermilt. Honorary Pallbearers: David Haynes and Knights of Columbus Friends. Melvin “Boo” loved LSU Tiger Sports, Holy Family Sports and baseball games at the park in Port Allen and fishing. He enjoyed all the years being a Knight of Columbus member and all his Knight Friends.
