Clyde “Brother” Lawson, 86, a resident of Jackson, LA, died on Monday, September 12, 2022. He was retired, after working for over thirty years as a US Postal carrier. There will be a visitation at Jackson Methodist Church on Saturday, September 24, 2022, from 11:00am until memorial services at 12:00noon. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Mary Lawson; one son, Carl Lawson and fiancé Vera Edmisten; nephew Jessie Hall; good friend Sam London. He was preceded in death by his parents: Glenn and Elizabeth “BeBe” Lawson; and two sisters Elizabeth “Betty” Acosta and Alice Ward. He was an avid reader who loved singing in the church choir. He proudly served in the US Air Force.
