Obituary for Lena Worth Vick

Lena Worth Vick, a resident of Ethel, died on Saturday, Aug. 13, 2022. She was 75 years old and was retired from Lane Memorial Hospital and Woman’s Hospital. Memorial Visitation will be on Friday, August 19, 2022 at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church in Clinton from 9:30am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, CSM (Ret.) Roy F. Vick, 2 daughters, Mary Alice Walters and Cecelia Anne Landry and a son, David J. Mount and wife, Karen. 4 grandchildren, Jonathan R. Blanton and wife, Samantha, James D. Landry and wife, Lindsey, Roger W. Picou, and Daniel A. Landry. 4 great grandchildren, Gabriel T. Blanton, Anna C. Blanton, Phillip R. Blanton and Evelyn M. Landry. Numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Alice Worth, 2 sisters, Wilma Barnes and Bridgett Bryneel and 2 brothers, Melvin Parker and James W. Worth, Jr. Lena was a military wife who loved living on Post. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren loved her home in the country for 34 years.
