Obituary for David Wales

Willie "David" Wales, 74, a lifelong resident of Clinton, went to his heavenly home on July 30, 2022. He was a retired SGT with Baton Rouge Police Department with 30 years of service. Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at Olive Branch Fellowship Church, 1302 LA Highway 67, Slaughter, LA 70777 from 9:30 am until service time at 12noon conducted by Rev. Rusty Bowser. Burial will follow in Wales Cemetery, Chipola.
David is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Pam Wales, brother in law, Richard McRae Jr., two nieces and a nephew and devoted caretaker, Pam Hagen.
David is preceded in death by his parents, Herman Wales and Mary Dunn.
He proudly served two tours in Vietnam in the US Army and was a longtime cattleman.
