Linda Wren Broderick (Brookreson), 85, died on Monday, July 11, 2022. There will be a visitation at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc. in Zachary, LA on Thursday, July 14, 2022 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm and then on Friday, July 15, 2022 at the Jackson Methodist Church in Jackson, LA from 10:00 am until funeral services at 11:00 am, conducted by Rev. Chris Curry. Burial will be at Masonic Cemetery in Clinton, LA. She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Scott M. Broderick; two daughters: Heather Lea Wren of Belfast, ME; Shannon Wren Couhig of Baton Rouge, LA; one son, Jason Severy Wren and his wife Kimberly of Denver, CO; three sisters-in-law: Sue Brookreson of San Antonio, TX; Frances Wren of Long Beach, MS; Judie Wren of Jacksonville, FL; two grandchildren: Peter Wren McGuyer and wife Savannah; Blake Wren; and three great-grandchildren: Jude, Ruby, and Asher McGuyer. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Pete Wren; one brother, Dr. Davis Brookreson; and grandson William McGuyer. Pallbearers will be Patrick Broderick, Gary Broderick, Peter Broderick, Frank Leggett, Charles Kruetz, and Peter McGuyer. Honorary pallbearer will be Doug Hammond. Linda was a lifelong sculptor and a painter who was very active in the Feliciana Arts. She was a member of several art guilds.
