Minnie "Jean" Mulkey, 84, a resident of Zachary, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, June 14, 2022.
Visitation will be on Friday, June 17, 2022 at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc., Zachary from 9:00 am until service time at 11:00 am followed by at 2:30 pm graveside service at Chase Cemetery, Chase, LA.
Jean is survived by her husband of 27 years, Edward L. Mulkey, children, Danny Ferguson(Maria), Marilyn Yvonne Lofton(Perry), John Malcolm Ferguson(Bobbie), Step children, Karen Laurent(Larry), Jamie Mulkey, Michael Mulkey and Roy T. Mulkey(Brandy), sister, Shirley Brecheen, grandchildren, Jonathan Paul Talley(Mindi), Candice Nicole Jeter(Jimmy), Nickolas Lee Ferguson(Jennifer), Danielle Marie Ferguson(Robert), Robert Lawrence Crusta, Jr.(Dehia), Jeremy Thurlow and Cristy Richard, great grandchildren, Mia Grace Talley, Jonah Paul Talley, Ruston Paul Curtis, Jennings Reed Curtis, Kayley Crusta, Kyndall Crusta, Eric Sproles, Brandon Sproles, Hixon Thurlow, Stella Thurlow, Will McCoy, Cole Jeter, Kyle Jeter, Kynlee Jeter, Lewis Laurent, Landon Mulkey, Gabriel and Christen Mulkey. She is preceded in death by her parents, sister and brother.
Jean loved cooking for all her family. Her favorite was to go fishing. She loved her cat. Jean will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
