Loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, Barry Daniel died on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at his home in St. Francisville. He was 66 years old. Barry was retired from Georgia Pacific with 31 years of service. Visitation will be at St. Francisville United Methodist Church on Saturday, April 30, 2022 from 10am until service at 12pm conducted by Rev. Daniel Hixon and Rev. Harold Babin. Burial will be at Star Hill Cemetery, Star Hill, LA. He is survived by his devoted wife of 19 years, Melissa. Daughter, Margaret Kleinpeter and husband, Rusty and step daughter, Darby Nevels all of St. Francisville. 3 sons, Barry “Rabb” Daniel and wife, Laruen of St. Francisville, John Stewart Daniel and wife, Frances of Woodville, MS and Harrison Daniel and wife, Meeka of Seguin, TX. A sister, Brenda Hosea and husband, Chevis of St. Augustine, FL and brothers, Bobby Daniel and wife, Jane and Brian Daniel and wife, Debbie all of St. Francisville. 9 grandchildren, Gracyn Kleinpeter, Ruston Kleinpeter, Peyton Daniel, Camille Daniel, Mary Olivia Daniel, John Ruffin Daniel, Mila Joy Daniel, Rhett Daniel Kleinpeter, and Mylee Jane Daniel. And lots of family and friends. Barry is preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Henrietta Daniel and a stepson, Ray Jenkins. Pallbearers will be Randy Whetsone, Marc Turner, Jim Jackson, Eddie Ryan, Davis Daniel, Brian Daniel, Wesley Maxwell and Jamie Daniel. Honorary pallbearers will be Dennis Canova, Kenny Howard and Bubby Jackson. Barry loved serving others, spending time with family and friends and playing with his grandchildren. He enjoyed hunting and being outdoors especially cutting grass. He loved to work and hunt for armadillos. He was a member of the fire brigade and emergency response team at Georgia Pacific.
