Virginia Turner Harris, 94, a resident of Slaughter, LA, died on Tuesday, April 19, 2022. There will be a graveside service on Friday, April 22, 2022, at 10:00am, at Redwood Cemetery in Slaughter, conducted by Dr. Wayne Barnes. She is survived by three daughters: Donna Harris Day, Shirley Harris Walker, and Carolyn Harris Hoover; five grandchildren: Jason Polk (Neila), Kristen Kittell (Ryan), Kara Duplantier (Andre), Jennifer Pasquale (Frank), and Michael Walker; and eight great-grandchildren: Isla Polk, Anais Polk, Ashton Kittell, Rhys Kittell, Elyse Duplantier, Hayden Duplantier, Gunner Pasquale, and Dominic Pasquale. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sammie Joe Harris. Pallbearers will be Jason Polk, Ryan Kittell, André Duplantier, Charles Fowler, Mike Schexnaydre, and Buddy Boudouin.
