Margaret “Fay” Poole Ross, died on Saturday, May 8, 2021. She was 91 years old. Graveside service will be at Roselawn Memorial Park, Baton Rouge, on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at 1pm. She is survived by her children, Richard Mark Ross and wife, Darlene and Emilie Ross Brown and husband, Thomas. 7 grandchildren, Todd Foster, Matt Ross, Ben Ross, Jaymes Brown, Nathan Brown, Daniel Brown and Waltz Ross. 9 great grandchildren, Jacob Foster, Haley Foster, Peyton Ross, Cullen Ross, Fallon Ross, Audrey Ross, Essie Brown, Andy Kate Brown and Emmie Brown. Fay is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Clark Ross, son, Charles Haley Ross, parents, Alfred Henry Poole and Melba Dale Brierley Poole and her sisters, Dale and Daphne. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. She was a graduate of Lecompte High School and attended Business College. She served several years as president of American Business Women’s Association. She loved playing cards and bowling and bird watching. Fay was a faithful Sunday School teacher for many years and loved God with all her heart.
