John Kirby, a resident of Zachary, died on Sunday, April 11, 2021. He was 67 years old, a musician and was retired from Superior Ford in the Parts Department. Memorial Visitation will be on Saturday, April 24, 2021 from 1pm until 3pm service conducted by Rev. Ron Lowry. He is survived by his children, Michelle Norton and husband, Eddie, William “Skipper” Cuny and wife, Lona, Renee Neilsen and husband, Josh and Jonathan Kirby. His siblings, Vernon Kirby, Eugenie McCurry and Keith Kirby. 5 grandchildren, Samantha Dey, Payge Norton, Rylea Norton, Odin Neilsen and Amy Neilsen. A great granddaughter, Scarlett Dey. He is preceded in death by his wife, Amy McGee Kirby, father, Johnny Kirby, Sr. and mother, Anne East. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to family (Michelle Norton and/or Renee Neilsen) to defray costs.
