John Thomas ""Big John"" Reading III

John T. Reading III, “Big John”,73, a resident of Norwood, LA, died on Sunday, March 21, 2021.
Memorial visitation will on Friday, March 26, 2021 at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc. in Zachary from 12pm until Rite of Christian Burial at 1pm conducted by Fr. M. Jeffrey Bayhi. Inurnment will be at Louisiana National Cemetery, Zachary. He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Vrenda Reading; four daughters: Holly Pearson and husband Curtiss of Livingston, LA; Michelle Hobgood and husband Ronnie of Denham Springs; Susan Williams of Denham Springs; Amanda Reseniz and husband Javier of Denham Springs; one son: Dean Bullock of Fort Worth Texas; one brother, Archie Reading and wife Sherry of Ranier, WA; seven grandchildren: Leah P. White, Alec Jones, London Jones, Travis Bullock, Greg Bullock, Chole Williams, Chance Williams; two great-grandchildren Adair White and Raylan Landry. He was preceded in death by his father, Clyde Reading; mother Lucille Robinson; brother Michael Reading; and son Grady Bullock. He was a NAVY veteran who served in the Vietnam War. He graduated from Central High School and LSU. He was a Radioman, Class A. Special thanks to Holly for all the care and compassion given to her father over the last 3 years. The Family requests that anyone attending be properly masked and observe social distancing.
