Nora Linda Deleon Vega, “Mimi” a native of Corpus Christi, TX and a resident of Zachary , La passed away on January 16th, 2021. There will be a visitation at Charlet Funeral Home, inc. in Zachary, LA on Friday, January 22, 2021, from 10:00 am until funeral services at 12:00 noon, conducted by Pastor Ashanti Witherspoon. She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Terry Vega; two daughters, Desiree-Agaleé Disedare and husband Jason, Kortnee Kleinpeter and husband Brandon; two sons, John Vega and wife Kristin and Josh Vega; her mother, Maria Deleon; four sisters: Olga Gautreaux and husband Allen; Velma Guillot and husband Bruce; Cynthia Bourgeois and husband Dana; Lupe Barrea and husband Tino; three brothers: Frank Deleon II and his wife Carmen;Hector Deleon and wife Mel; Bobby Deleon and wife Amy; eight grandchildren: Fabein Disedare and wife Tristin, Keri Disedare Pertuit and husband Tyler, Cierra, Brandon Jr., Autumn, Candilynn, Laelynn, and Brayen. She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Deleon Sr. and her brother Gilbert Deleon. Pallbearers will be John Vega, Jason Disedare, Brandon Kleinpeter, Fabein Disedare, Frank Deleon, Hector Deleon, Bobby Deleon, and Michael Deleon. She belonged to the Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, shopping, and Saints Football. She was most herself when she was causing trouble with her mom.
