Obituary

Rev. William (Billy) Perry was born in Baton Rouge and was a resident of Ethel, LA. He was welcomed to his ‘heavenly home’ on June 22, 2020. Rev. Perry served over the years as a pastor to many local churches as
well as in the William Wallace Association as Chairman of the Missions Committee and Executive Committee member. He traveled to India multiple times over the years, living and loving the people of a remote area and sharing his love of the Word of God with the many who loved him there. But above all else, he loved Jesus and wrote, “I consider my ministry a success as long as I follow my Lord” He is survived by his wife and companion of 60 years, Peggy Mut Perry, his two sons, William Warren Perry, III, (Alita M. Perry) and Brian Henley Perry, (Wendy J. Perry), and his daughter Anna P. Alexander (Philip Alexander). His grandchildren, Addie Perry, Will Perry, Allyson Perry, Joyce Perry, Charlie Perry and Nathaniel Alexander.
Services will be held Thursday June 25 from 1-3pm at Wilson Community Church, 6314 Sycamore St.Wilson, LA 70789, Followed by burial at Eastern Star Cemetery, Wilson LA.

Dear family, I am sorry to hear about the passing of Bro. Billy. Bro. Billy was an awesome pastor and I know he help to bring a lot of people to the Lord Jesus Christ. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you now and in the days to come. God bless.
