Deborah Sue McGowan Miller was born August 11, 1954 in Monroe, LA, raised in Oak Grove, LA and passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2020. She graduated from Jackson High School in 1973, went to Folkes where she graduated as a CNA. She worked as a CNA for many years until she went to college for her LPN and retired after 33 1/2 years of service. She is preceded in death by her father, Allen Blant McGowan, Jr., mother, Modine Pevytoe McGowan and brother, Michael Ray McGowan.
Deborah is survived by her three children, William Michael "Mickey" Dousay, Jr.(Kristie) of Zachary, Lisa Kay Dousay Allen(Warren) of Jackson and John Patrick Dousay of Wilson, four sisters, Judy Conerly of Walker, Brenda Sagely of Jackson, Vivian Canoy of St. Francisville and Sylvia Ebbs of Denham Springs, seven grandchildren, Kyle and Megan Dousay of Zachary, Harlie Williams, Raven "Rae" Dousay and Cedric Thomas Jr., all of Jackson, John Taylor Dousay of Zachary and Tammy Nichole Dousay of Boston, MA, one great grandchild, Brittany Dousay of Denham Springs, her favorite niece, Jennifer Gilmore(Travis) of Denham Springs and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. A private family graveside service will be held at Second Baptist Church Cemetery.
