Nicholas James Pilcher, a resident of Central died on Monday, Feb. 4, 2019. He was 38 years old and was employed with Georgia Pacific. Visitation will be at Charlet Funeral Home Inc. in Zachary on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2019 from 5pm until 8pm. Visitation continues on Friday, Feb. 8, 2019 at Fullerton Baptist Church in Pitkin, LA from 12pm until service at 2pm conducted by Rev. Patrick Austin. Burial will be in Marlow Baptist Church Cemetery, Pitkin. He is survived by his children, Mason Nicholas Pilcher and Mia Elizabeth Pilcher. Parents, James Whitworth Pilcher and Rhonda Pilcher and Pamela Dee Leamer. Siblings, Chenoa Danielle Pilcher, Nathaniel Shamus Pilcher, Jaim Bourg and wife, Kristin, Senate Kalscheuer and husband, Jon and Michael Ann Kuntz and husband Rick. The love of his life, Melissa Lavergne and his beloved dog, Paco. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Walter Pilcher, Mary Lou and PJ Leblanc, Dean and Peggy Leamer and Minnie Lee Leamer. Nick enjoyed woodworking, cooking and music but especially spending time with his family.
