Rendon, Sr., Curtis Calvin, 83, a resident of Clinton and former longtime resident of Houston, TX, passed away on Friday, January 4, 2019. He was a retired operator with Reynold's Aluminium and proudly served in the US Navy. Visitation will be on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Clear Creek United Methodist Church, 17901 Highway 432, Clinton, LA 70722, from 9:00 am until service time at 11:00 am conducted by Rev. Ted Fine. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Curtis is survived by his sisters, Peggy Hunt(Jim), Amy Viator(Ron), Sharon Broussard, Charlene Noftsger(Jim) and Shirley Owens(Mike), sister in law, Betty D. Schmidt(Roy) and brother in Law, Donald Ray DeLee(Gail) and numerous nieces, nephews and dear family friend, Jo Nicholson. Curtis is preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Ellen DeLee Rendon, Son, Calvin Rendon, Parents, Charles Rendon Sr. and Margie Jordan Chafin, brother, Charles Rendon Jr., Brother in law, Robert E. DeLee and sisters in law, Joyce DeLee, Barbara S. DeLee and Alice C. DeLee and nephew, Keith DeLee.
Pallbearers will be Roy M. Schmidt III, Caleb R. Schmidt, Mark Ryan Schmidt, Derrick Willis, Glenn DeLee, Robert E. DeLee Jr., Paul N. DeLee and honorary pallbearer is Roy M. Schmidt Jr.
