John Raymond Stubbs, 75, a native and resident of Pride, passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 2018. He was retired from Coca- Cola. Visitation will be on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc., Zachary from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm. A graveside service will follow at Sandy Creek Cemetery, Pride.
John is survived by his wife of 54 years, Glenda Stubbs, daughter, Hope Landry and husband, Jonathan, sister, Lindsey Dawson, brothers, Darryl Stubbs and Frank Stubbs and three grandchildren, Luke Landry, Lawson Landry and Laynie Grace Landry.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and three brothers.
Pallbearers will be Lynn Peairs, Dana Peairs, Darrin Peairs, Randal Forbes, David Hancock Jr., and Jason Stubbs. Honorary pallbearers are Jonathan Landry, Luke Landry and Lawson Landry.
John loved the outdoors, hunting and LSU sports.
