Clarence Leo Schilling, 76, a resident of Jackson, LA and a native of Kentwood, LA, died on Friday, November 9, 2018. He was retired, after working for East Louisiana State Hospital and the Town of Jackson. There will be a visitation on Friday, November 16, 2018 at the Second Baptist Church of Jackson from 10am until funeral services at 12 Noon, conducted by Pastor Joe Day. Burial will be in the Second Baptist Church Cemetery. He is survived by two daughters, Connie Davies and husband Mark of Baton Rouge; Dawn Webbing Logston of Jackson; one son, Kevin Schilling and partner Connie Moseley of Central, LA; two brothers, Leroy Schilling and Charles Schilling; four grandchildren: Jason Walker, Shelley Taylor, Mathew Dozier, Amanda Ruhlman; five great-grandchildren: Torie Lacaze, Kinsley Taylor, Cody Walker, Poppy Walker, Eleanor Ruhlman. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pete Schilling and Doris Wallace; and daughter Sherry Dozier. Pallbearers will be Donald "Duck" Gillipse, Don Havard, Donald Fleming, Joe Jackson, Charles Coleman, and Johnny Fleming. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
