Edith Quinn Castello, 57, “Edie”, a resident of Ethel, LA, went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 19, 2018, at her home. There will be a memorial service at Wilson Community Church on Tuesday, October 23, 2018. Visitation will begin at 10am and memorial services will begin at 11am, conducted by Rev. Harold Babin and Rev. Joe Ratcliff. She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, John Henry Castello; one daughter, Holly Alyse Castello; son Matthew Hunter Castello; two sisters, Kathy Quinn Christensen and husband Scott of Zachary, LA; Camilla Quinn Davis of Mandeville, LA; one brother, Ralph E. Quinn Jr. and wife Michelle of Norwood, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph E. Quinn Sr. and Adelle Woodside Quinn; parents-in-law Hunter Castello and Sallie Ligon Castello. Edie graduated from LSU with a BS in Computer Science. She was a founding member of Girl Scout Troop 21 in Clinton, LA; and a committee member for Cub Scout Pack 60 and Boy Scout Troop 60. She served as a Youth Sunday School teacher and Adult Bible Study Leader at the Wilson Community Church. She was the Chief Information Officer for Louisiana Health Care Review; the Chief Operation Officer and Chief Executive Officer for EQ Health Solutions and Chief Transition Officer for Veterans Accountable Care Group. She loved walking and working in her yard. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made the the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and the MS Society.
