A resident of Monterey, LA and a former resident of Zachary, Gloria died on Monday, Oct. 1, 2018. She was 71 years old. Visitation will be at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc. in Zachary on Thursday, Oct. 4, 2018 from 1pm until service at 3pm. Burial will be in Azalea Rest Cemetery, Zachary. She is survived by her husband of 16 years, Glenn E. Martin. Children, Larry MacArthur Brown, Jr.; Alyssa Brown Brooks and husband, Bobby; and Erica Brown Landry and husband, Brent. Step Children, Beverly Brown Williford and husband, Michael and Mark Martin and wife, Abby. Grandchildren, TJ, Hannah, Laryn, Hope, Ryan, Brody, Dylan, Taylor, Blade, Noah and Waylon. She is preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, Larry MacArthur Brown, parents, Marvin and Thelma Knox and 1 sister. Pallbearers will be Brent, Bobby, Mark, TJ, Dylan, Blade, Noah and Justin. Honorary pallbearers will be Ryan, Waylon and Brody. Gloria enjoyed bass fishing, cooking, gardening and outdoor activities.
