Obituary for Jeni-Su Hebert Cambre

Jeni-Su Hebert Cambre, 72, a resident of Zachary, LA, died on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother with an infectious laugh and had the ability to cheer you up with her bright smile, funny personality and words of wisdom. Her passion for cooking brought joy to many throughout the years. There will be a visitation at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc. in Zachary, LA on Friday, July 27, 2018 from 5 to 8. Visitation will continue on Saturday at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc. from 9:30am until 10:30am. The funeral mass will be at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 4826 Main Street in Zachary at 11am, conducted by Father M. Jeffery Bayhi. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery in Baker, LA. She is survived by her loving husband of 17 years, Vincent “Butch” Cambre; three daughters, Kelly Desselle and her husband Glen; Julianne Hebert; Nadine Dolese and her husband Gregory; two sons, Dean Hebert and his wife Michelle; David Hebert and his wife Sarah; and three step-daughters; fourteen grandchildren: Taylor Pierce and husband Joe, Angel Hebert, Paige Hebert, Preslie Hebert, Jessica Neal and husband Michael, Anthony Desselle, Ashton Hayes and husband James, Ashley Deloach and husband Zeland, Eric Boone, Brynn Boone, Mitchell Hebert, Curby Lege and fiancé Mikaeylla, Coby Lege, Harley Lege and wife Tiffani; and eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband of 37 years, Earl J. Hebert, Jr., daughter Babette Hebert, parents Willard O. Kelley and Barbara Kelley, sister Nellie Gros, and brother Camille Aucoin. Pallbearers will be Glen Desselle, Greg Dolese, Curby Lege, Anthony Desselle, Coby Lege, and Mitchell Hebert.
