Obituary for Ellen DeLee Rendon

Ellen DeLee Rendon, 77, a resident of Clinton, and a former long time resident of Houston, TX, passed away on Monday, July 16, 2018 at Lane Regional Medical Center in Zachary. She was a retired supervisor for Aetna Insurance.
Visitation will be at Clear Creek United Methodist Church, 17901 Highway 432, Clinton, on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 from 9:00 am until service time at 11:00 am conducted by Caleb R. Schmidt. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Ellen is survived by her husband of 59 years, Curtis Rendon, sister, Betty D. Schmidt(Roy), brother, Donald Ray DeLee(Gail), sisters in law, Peggy Hunt(Jim), Amy Viator(Ron), Sharon Broussard, Charlene Noftsger(Jim) and Shirley Owens(Mike). She is preceded in death by her father, Robert N. DeLee, mother, Annie W. DeLee, son, Calvin Rendon, brother, Robert E. DeLee, Sr., sister, Joyce DeLee, sisters in law, Alice C. DeLee and Barbara S. DeLee and nephew, Keith DeLee.
Pallbearers will be Roy M. Schmidt, III, Mark Ryan Schmidt, Derrick Willis, Edward Glenn DeLee, Robert E. DeLee, Jr, Paul Nettles DeLee. Honorary pallbearer is Roy M. Schmidt, Jr. Ellen loved spending time traveling and fishing with friends. She leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews and also her dear friend, Jo Nicholson.
