Obituary for Morgan L. "Mo" Rioux

Morgan “Mo” Rioux, a resident of Baton Rouge and native of Zachary, was called to her heavenly home Monday, July 1, 2018 at the age of 29. Mo was a talented artist, whatever she imagined she could put on a canvas. She used her artistic talents to bring joy to the patients of the infusion center at the Baton Rouge General. Though the last 12 years she suffered with multiple health issues, it did not slow “The Mo” down. She loved the Lord, her family, and friends. Morgan was a giver to all who knew her, always giving of herself and helping others. Even in death, she is still giving – her wishes were to be an organ donor. She is survived by her parents, Tim and Lisa Rioux, brother Adam and wife Sarah Rioux and two nieces Adeline and Lorraine Rioux. Grandparents Larry and Judy Varnado, Aunt Shelley Varnado and husband Curtis, cousins Shelbey Breazeale, Preslee Breazeale Davies and husband Curtis Davies; Uncle Darryl Varnado and wife Amy, cousins Mary Hannah and Scotlyn Varnado; Aunt Valerie Rioux, Uncle Mike Rioux, wife Patty, cousins Kim Rioux Flavin, Michael Rioux, John Rioux and Joe Rioux; Uncle Paul Rioux, wife Cheryl, cousins Paulette Rioux Holliday, Rebekah Artieta, Reuben Rioux, Joseph Rioux, and Joel Rioux; Aunt Janet Rioux, cousins Heather Rioux, Candace Rioux Brumbelow, and Todd Rioux; Uncle Jim Rioux, wife Mary, cousins Jessica Rioux, Annie Rioux Henderson, and Travis Rioux; Aunt Elizabeth Rioux Karis, husband Doug, cousins Angela Mauldin Halbert, Emily Mauldin Baker, Alexis Karis and Zachary Karis; Uncle Phillip Rioux, wife Trudy, cousins Amy Kay Rioux Hopper and Claire Rioux Samaha; and Uncle Tom Rioux and wife Shannon. Two Special Aunts Audrey Letard and Ann Allison, and numerous cousins.

Also survived by a special person Morgan truly adored, Sam Stanford.

LeTard, Uncle Mark Rioux, and cousin Brody Hopper.
