Luciano "Indian Jack"   Garza
Loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and a friend to many, Luciano “Indian Jack” Garza was born on January 8, 1939. He passed peacefully away on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at his home in St. Francisville surrounded by his loving family. He was a paratrooper of the 101st Airborne division in the United States Army and a retired boilermaker with Local 582. He was also a PRCA bull rider, a horseshoer, he broke horses and loved working on his farm. Visiting will be at First Baptist Church of St. Francisville on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 from 10am until High Noon service conducted by Dr. Joel Williams. Burial will be in Feliciana Cemetery, St. Francisville. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Joy Hutson Garza. Daughter, Gigi Garza (Scott Bergeron) of St. Francisville, and a son, Vincent Garza (Deena) of Rosenberg, TX. Sisters, Janie G. Gonzales (Daniel) of Wharton,TX; Lydia G. Vasquez (Raymond) of Hungerford, TX and a brother, David Garza, Jr. of Wharton, TX. Grandchildren, Jack Lane and Jacy Lynn. He is preceded in death by sons, Jack David Garza and Oscar D. Garza and a daughter, Jaclyn L. Garza, parents, David and Maria Garza and brothers, Paul Garza and Eluterio Garza. Pallbearers will be: Daniel Gonzales, Scott Bergeron, Derrick Bergeron, J.W. Mitchell, Baker Metz, Alex Felder and Mark Anderson. Honorary pallbearers will be: Jack Lane Garza, Austin Daniel, Stanley Watson, Barry Fortenberry, Gary Brad Stokes and the members of Boilermakers Local 582.
