The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Stephen Blackwell can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: I am so sorry for your loss. It breaks our hearts when death separates us from the ones we love so much, especially when they are as young as Stephen. The Bible reminds us that God sees our pain and sadness and has promised that soon, "death will be swallowed up forever." (Isaiah 25:8) He will heal our broken hearts by resurrecting our precious loved ones to life again. (John 6:40) I hope your beautiful memories of Stephen and these promises from God comfort you in the days to come.

Condolence: Dear Mr. & Mrs. Blackwell, I want to express how sorry I am for the passing of Stephen. Living out of state, I didn't get to know him as an adult, father or husband. I am sure he was full of as much love as you both shared and showed. God bless you all and I will pray for healing if your hearts.

Condolence: Susan and Ronnie, the pain of losing a child is inconceivable to anyone who has not suffered the same so words cannot be used to comfort you in this time of despair. Please know, only, that you and your family are loved and that prayers and Rosaries will be offered often in the hope that you can eventually find peace, and that you come to realize God's plan, no matter how mysterious it is.

Peace to you all,
