Obituary for Cheryl Crouch Bourgeois

Cheryl Crouch Bourgeois, 60, passed away on Friday, June 15, 2018, at the Crossing at Clarity Hospice in Baton Rouge, after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Cheryl was born in Shreveport, La., but spent most of her life in Baton Rouge. She graduated from Woodlawn High School, attended LSU in Baton Rouge, and then went to work for the City/Parish Government of Baton Rouge in the Finance Department, where she worked thirty years before her retirement in 2009.
She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Bailey Bourgeois, who owns a dental lab in Clinton, where the couple resided; her mother, Bobbie Smallen, father Al Crouch, both of Baton Rouge; sister Lisa Sisco, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; stepfather, the late Robert Smallen; mother-in-law Kathy Pyle of Virginia; father-in-law Jim Bourgeois of Baton Rouge; sister-in-law Elizabeth Bourgeois of Virginia; brother-in-law, the late John Bourgeois; and uncle, Ron Crouch of Baton Rouge.
Cheryl was a happy, outgoing person with many friends. She enjoyed country living, where she could spend quality time with her beloved horses and her dogs. She lived life to the fullest, was always interested in rescuing animals and sharing her life with her beloved husband and soul mate, Bailey.
A memorial for Cheryl will be held at a later date.
