Obituary for Shirley Mae Blackard (Zachary)

Shirley Mae Zachary Blackard, 77, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, June 4, 2018. She was a resident of St. Francisville and native of Jackson. Visitation will be at Second Baptist Church, Jackson, on Friday, June 8, 2018 from 9:00 am until service time at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Shirley is survived by her beloved and devoted husband of 62 years, Dale Blackard, daughter, Angel Peli and husband Jamie, sons, Dale Ray Blackard and wife Michelle and Chris Blackard, sisters, Bobbie Bond and Betty Fletcher, 5 grandchildren, Katelyn Ducote and husband Dustin, Brooklyn Bennett, Dylan Peli, Colin Peli and Will Reames and 4 great grandchildren, Emma Kate Bennett, Kenley Ducote, Chloe Conrad and Mason Ducote.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Mary Zachary and 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
Shirley will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her.
