Obituary for Edna Hall Browning


Edna Hall Browning, 83, a very sophisticated and classy lady and a great mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away peacefully and went to be with her beloved husband on Monday, May 14, 2018. She was well loved by all of her friends and co-workers throughout the years in her banking and hospital industries. She grew up as a hard working child, working on her family's dairy farm with her four sisters and was a graduate of Clinton High School.
She loved to travel and have fun and visited many areas around the world including Europe, the Carribean, Alaska and all over the United States.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc, Zachary from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Thursday, May 17, 2018, an 11:00 am graveside service will be held at Redwood Cemetery, Slaughter.
She is survived by her son, Matthew Clay and wife, Yvette Barbour Browning, sisters, Kaleta Hutson, Loretta Wynn and husband, Jack and Jimmie Darbonne, grandchildren, Jase Matthew Browning and wife, Christy, Jake Patrick Browning and Fiance' Holly Sonnier and Matthew Bailey Urquhart, great ganddaughter, Paisley Noelle Browning and numerous nieces and nepews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Andrew Hall and Beatrice Bright Hall, Sister, Marie Hall Rodriguez, first husband, Donald Ray Browning and second husband, Harry Roark and brother in law, Bob Hutson.
Pallbearers will be, Jase Browning, Jake Browning, Matthew Urquhart, Dale Myrick, Trent Myrick and Joshua Carr.
