Obituary for Daniel Patrick Cazedessus

April 6, 1982 – March 3, 2018. A native of Clinton and resident of Ponchatoula, LA passed away at age 35 at home after a lifelong battle with lung disease. There will be a visitation at the Bluff Creek Baptist Church on Thursday, March 8, 2018 from 10am until funeral services at 12noon. Burial will be at the Cazedessus Family Cemetery. Daniel is survived by his wife Patricia Stacy and son Matthew Thomas Cazedessus, his parents Mac and JoAnn Cazedessus, his siblings, Manly “Tony” and wife Dawn Cazedessus, Joseph and wife Debbi Cazedessus, Becky and husband Shaun Schwindt, Virginia and husband Coy Berthelot, Eugene IV and wife Petra Cazedessus, Nathaniel and wife Amanda Cazedessus. His father-in-law and mother-in-law Mike and Diane Stacy, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Jeff and Meagan Stacy. His nieces and nephews Sarah, Caroline, Gabrielle, Philip, Peter, Paul, and Andrew Schwindt; Anthony and Nicholas Cazedessus, Molly, Mason, and Micah Forshag; Joseph Jr., Claire, Catherine, and Ann Marie Cazedessus; McCoy, Camille, and Bryson Berthelot; Elizabeth, Eugene V “Quinn”, and Sebastian Cazedessus; Madison and Penelope Cazedessus, Bradyn, Briggs, and Brook Hebert. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Eugene Romain and Virginia Cazedessus and Joe and Doris Ann Caldwell and his sister Elizabeth Erin Cazedessus. Daniel enjoyed woodwork, guns, studying the Bible and reading about the works of Jesus. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Feliciana Bank Daniel Cazedessus Fund to help defray funeral costs and establish a college fund for his son Matthew Cazedessus.
