Obituary for James A. Fletcher

James A.  Fletcher
James Alfred Fletcher, a resident of Pride, La., passed away on February 15, 2018 at the age of 95. He was a veteran of World War II, having served with the Army-Air Force. He was also a retired Reserve Deputy with the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office. He was also a retiree from Carter's TV and Radio Service. He is survived by a daughter, Connie Stelly and husband E. Joe, of Greenwell Springs, and a son, Freddy Fletcher and wife Janet, of Pride. He is preceded in death by his wife of 71 years, Nettie T. Fletcher, his parents, James W. Fletcher and Mary Ella Fletcher,and a sister Margaret Robinson. Visitation will be at Sandy Creek Baptist Church on Monday, February 19, from 10am until services at 12pm conducted by Pastor Tim Norris. Burial will by in Sandy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Special thanks to the staff at Lane Hospital for their special care and kindness.
