Obituary for Ola Gleason King

Ola Gleason King, 104, a longtime resident of Baker, LA, died on Sunday, December 3, 2017. There will be a visitation at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc. in Zachary, LA on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 from 10am until funeral services at 1pm, conducted by Rev. George Threeton. She is survived by her daughter, Jo Ann Crittenden and husband Charlie of Central, LA; two grandchildren, Chuck Bailey and Jodie Strain, and eight step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren Kasye Bailey and Julia Strain, and fifteen step-great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and thirteen step-great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sisters, two half-sisters, three half-brothers; her husband Truman King; and parents Arthur and Viola Gleason. She was a member of the Greenwell Springs Baptist Church and a longtime member of the Baker First Baptist Church. She was a prayer warrior and a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
