Obituary for Peggy Lipscomb

Lipscomb, Peggy P., 77, passed away on Monday, October 16, 2017 at her home in Zachary surrounded by her loving family. Visitation will be on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc., Zachary from 9:00 am until service time at 11:00 am conducted by Rev. LaMarylis Cotten. Burial will follow in Milldale Baptist Church Cemetery.
Peggy is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Wilton R. Lipscomb Sr., son, Kenneth R. Lipscomb and wife, Angela of Zachary, former daughter in law, Holley Lipscomb Naquin of Clinton, sister, Betty Kirby and husband, Harold of Zachary, Sister in law, Brenda Watkins, brother in law, Larry Lipscomb, grandchildren, Rick Lipscomb III, Joshua Lipscomb, Angel Hargrave, Beth Dowling, Aaron Cormier, Allen Cormier, Evan Lipscomb, Ethan Lipscomb, great grandchildren, Josh, Dustin, Joshlyn, Cassius, Colin, Hunter, Scottie, Grace, Katlyn, Brock, Brayden, Caraline and Carter and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by, parents, Edwin and Mary Peairs, brother, E.R. Peairs Jr., son, Wilton R. Lipscomb Jr, Sister in law, Gwen Farmer.
Pallbearers will be Aaron Cormier, Evan Lipscomb, Ethan Lipscomb, Bob Kelly, Win Kelly, Durel Kirby and honorary pallbearers are Allen Cormier, Rick Lipscomb, Josh Lipscomb and Cary Farmer. She was a longtime member of Deerford United Methodist Church. Memorial donations may be made to Deerford UMC or St. Jude's Children Research.
