Obituary for Michael Dale Vickers Sr.

Michael Dale Vickers, Sr., a heavy equipment operator with Weeks Bros. Equipment Rental, died on Thursday, April 21, 2016. He was 66 years old and a resident of Zachary. Visiting will be at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc. in Zachary on Monday, April 25, 2016 from 4pm until 8pm with at 7pm Memorial Service conducted by Bro. Steven Vickers. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Susie Vickers, a son, Michael Dale “Mikie” Vickers, Jr. and a daughter, Misty Aulds. A sister, Joyce “Butsie” Moreau and a brother, “Jimmy” Vickers and wife, Tonja. 6 grandchildren, Blaine Posey, Tori Lafleur, Landon Lafleur, Chance Vickers, Kylee Vickers and Skyler Vickers. And 2 great grandchildren, Blaidon Dale Bryan and Baby Boy due in April. He is preceded in death by his parents, Carey and Marquerite Vickers and a brother, “SkeeterBug”. He loved Belle River, NASCAR and fishing.

Memorial donations may be made in his granddaughter, Kylee’s name to Muscular Dystrophy Association.
