Obituary for Nathaniel A. "Nate" Kibodeaux

Master Sergeant Nathaniel (Nate) A. Kibodeaux passed away on November 1, 2015 while duck hunting near Grandview, Idaho at the age of 38. He was a husband, father, son, brother and Airman in the United States Air Force. Nathaniel Kibodeaux was born on February 4, 1977 in Kinder, Louisiana. He graduated from Iota High School in 1995 and enlisted in the Air Force on May 31, 1995. He dedicated his life to the defense of our nation as a weapons loader on fighter aircraft and as a leader and mentor to many Airmen. His passion for hunting, grilling, LSU football, and motorcycles came second only to his love for his family. Nate is survived by his wife Kathryn, daughter Briana, son Alexander, parents Albert and Charmaine Kibodeaux, and his siblings Shelly Monceaux and her husband Dean, Amber Kibodeaux, and Aaron Kibodeaux. He is also survived by his nephews Daigan, Sayer, Sylas, and Cohen. Nate Kibodeaux’s life will be celebrated with a wake from 5 to 8 pm on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at the Charlet Funeral Home in Zachary, LA. A viewing will be held on Friday November 13, 2015 from 12 to 1:30 pm immediately followed by a funeral service with full military honors at Louisiana National Cemetery.
