Randal D. Ory, 52, a resident of Slaughter, LA, died at his home on Wednesday, August 19, 2015, after a battle with cancer. Visitation will be on Monday, August 24, 2015 at the Slaughter First Baptist Church from 10am until funeral services at 12noon, conducted by Rev. Basil Wicker and Pastor Lamar Chris Curry. Burial will be in Redwood Cemetery. He is survived by his mother, Clementine “Tena” Rogillio Ory of Slaughter; two sisters, Norma Lee Ory of Slaughter; Laura O. Wicker and her husband Jerry Wicker of Smithdale, MS; one brother, John Daniel Ory and his wife Amy M. Ory of Slaughter; four neices: Tena B. Hall and her husband James Hall; LaTrelle Cart and her husband Joey Cart; Kristi Roberts; Haley Wicker; and numerous great-nieces and nephews and loved ones. He was preceded in death by his father, Reginald “Scrap” Ory; and nephews Reginald Daniel Ory and Paul Daniel Bourg. He was a graduate of Zachary High School. He enjoyed rabbit hunting, fishing, and woodworking. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Redwood Cemetery, PO Box 247, Slaughter, LA 70777; or Cancer Services of Baton Rouge.
