Dana Lucille Baker  Othmer
Dana Lucille Baker Othmer died on Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2014 at Grace Health and Rehab. She was 50 years old and a former resident of Zachary.
Visiting will be at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc. in Zachary on Thursday, Dec. 18, 2014 from 5pm until 8pm and continues on Friday, Dec. 19, 2014 at First Presbyterian Church, Baton Rouge from 11am until service at 1pm conducted by Rev. Gerrit Dawson. Burial will be in Shaw McHugh Cemetery, Zachary.
She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Hans Othmer. 2 sons, Devan Marshall Othmer and Jacob Brian Othmer. Parents, Jesse Louie and Mary Ludie Baker. A brother, Marshall Louis Baker and wife, Melinda. Brother in law and sister in law, Siegfried and Susan Othmer. A niece, Delaney Paige Baker and 2 nephews, Cade Ethan Baker and Kurt Othmer. Dana was a substitute teacher at Zachary High and Northwestern Middle Schools. She was very involved in the Youth department at First Presbyterian Church and Habitat for Humanity. Her hobbies included Horseback riding. Dana was a two-time Champion at Team Penning. Special thanks to the entire staff at Grace Health and Rehab for 7 years of unconditional love and attention given to Dana. Also special thanks to the members of First Presbyterian Church for your enduring and constant prayers and support these last 7 years.
